On 27th - 28th June 2009 rabbit contest was held in Batu, East Java. This regional contest is the first time was held in Batu. Participants in this contest came from several cities in East Java. Although this contest is the first time, but there are so many participants. Almost 300 rabbits who participate in the contest this time. There are 7 different classes in Batu Rabbit Contest 2009, the Angora, Rex, Lop Rabbit, Mini Rabbit ( 0,8kg - 1,5kg ), Flemish Giant, Mix Rabbit, and Rabbit Race. This contest was organized by Batu Rabbit Breeder Group with some sponsors.
